Deep Tissue/Trigger Point
Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address chronic tension, restricted movement, and musculoskeletal dysfunction. This technique uses slow, deliberate strokes and sustained pressure to reduce adhesions, improve tissue mobility, and restore optimal function.
Trigger point therapy targets specific areas of hyperirritable muscle fibers that may refer pain to other regions of the body. Pressure may be applied along or across muscle fibers, as well as to tendons and fascia, to help decrease pain, improve circulation, and support long-term relief.

Gua sha/Iastm (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Technique)
IASTM and Gua Sha are soft tissue therapies that use specialized tools to help mobilize muscles, fascia, and connective tissue. These techniques are used to address tissue restrictions, improve mobility, and support overall tissue health.
Stainless steel instruments are applied with controlled pressure to create gentle friction across the tissue, which may result in temporary redness. This response is a normal and expected outcome, reflecting increased circulation and tissue warming that can support healing and improved movement.

Therapeutic
True realignment extends beyond the physical body to include the nervous system. Massage therapy supports nervous system regulation by encouraging the parasympathetic (“rest and restore”) response. Through intentional, therapeutic touch, massage may help reduce cortisol levels, support the release of endorphins, and foster a sense of safety within the body.
By calming the nervous system, massage therapy can support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. The combined effects of relaxation and mindful self-care often leave individuals feeling more grounded, balanced, and at ease.
